We are big fans of simple, minimal spaces. They look so clean and beautiful, so it’s hard not to fall in love with them. Sometimes minimal can feel a bit cold and that’s not ideal for a kids room. But not with these beautiful kids bedrooms — there is absolutely nothing cold about them.
All the rooms have plenty of character and charm and most of all, are stunning in their simplicity. Nearly all feature a wall colour, few carefully chosen decorations and no more furniture than is needed. Most of the decorations aren’t there just for their beauty but, they serve a practical and useful purpose too — like the branch clothes hanger in the top image.
While we can’t stop admiring these rooms, we have wondered how they remain so tidy! Maybe one of the mamas who created these rooms will come and share her secret. In the meantime, we can all still dream.
Here are some more simple but stunning rooms:
The simplicity of the black and white colour scheme with a bit of blush makes this room so beautiful. And as with all these rooms, there is no clutter and just a few little decorations.
While less is more, minimal doesn’t always mean everything hidden away. We love how they’ve created a feature of everyday items like clothes and we’re also loving the blue/grey wall with all that wood.
This room features a taupe wall with a soft grey bed. There is just one cute poster on the wall and a star cushion on the bed. Just a few little touches which are all that is needed.
In this last room, the grey-green walls look stunning but what we can’t believe is that this a room shared by three and it’s still so minimal and tidy! We’re loving the basket details and the odd wooden toys.
