Nothing says party time more than balloons. We love to have balloons at all our gatherings, no matter what age group. But we couldn’t imagine having a kids party without a ton of balloons. They add such a cheerful vibe to almost any party and if you have loads of balloons, you don’t need any other decorations.

While we love balloons as they are, it’s always fun to create a DIY for a kids party to add your own personal touch. Imagine decorating your next party with colourful balloon garlands as pictured above. This balloon garland is super easy to make and looks so, so cheerful.

We went looking for some more balloon DIY’s and here’s what we found for you:

What can be more fun than making up your kids birthday age in a giant balloon sculpture? You can go for a single colour or choose a range of colours.  This DIY giant balloon number makes an oversized decoration and a great backdrop for photos too.

If you want to go bright, here is a playful idea for using colourful balloons as a table runner. The table looks so cheerful and the matching card plate chargers are another simple touch to compete the look. Once the foods been eaten, imagine the fun the kids can have with this balloon table runner!

This balloon chandelier is such a cute idea!  Add instant fun to any party by making and hanging one of these above the party table. In fact you don’t have to stop at the table, why not make lots and hang them all over the party room?

If you want to push the boat out, make this rainbow themed balloon arch. It’s not the quickest balloon DIY on this list, but it will be so worth it once made. What a dramatic, oversized and fun decoration to have at a party.

How sweet are these balloon animals? If you’re going for an animal themed party or even if you’re not, these animal balloons will add a super sweet touch to your kids birthday party and they come with free printable cutouts.

Super sweet and easy to make, these balloon bow ties will be cute for a kids party and afterwards, the kids can each take one home.

Which one will you make for your next party?
