I have always believed that children’s rooms can be stunning, stylish and most of all, LOTS of fun!
Thanks to the thousands of beautiful and creative brands around the world today, it is easy to create a unique and individual space that will inspire your little one’s imagination and tell a story whilst blending tastefully with the rest of your home. And it’s all in the accessories you choose.
Take cushions, for example. On the bed, in the play den or on the floor, wherever they are scattered they will add a splash of colour to your child’s room. But when cushions also double up as toys they help to bring the room to life – and that’s where the story and fun begins!
We have selected some of our favourite toy cushions that kids will love as much as grown ups – perfect little playmates to snuggle, whilst bringing a touch of style to wherever they live.

This gorgeous room was created by Ana of Jujuzozo, using cushions from Danish interiors brand Luckyboysunday. Mause Doll and Fancy Nulle have been hand knitted from the softest baby alpaca and make the cuddliest companions, day or night. Favourite Place Pillow (shown here in grey) comes in five different colours and is a lovely imaginary home for them! Not forgetting smart little Ricepapa of course – a wonderful addition to British brand Noodoll’s collection.

Mause Doll also stars in this adorable play corner styled by Australian interiors brand Zilvi. He is joined by Rabbit Doll from Miniroom, Sweden and a couple of handmade friends by British brand Naked Lunge (selection available at Peek & Pack). All of them as much at home in the dolls cot as in the big kid bed.

We fell in love with this beautiful Swan Cushion the moment saw her. She is handmade with love and care by Ilka in the south of France, all ready to adorn your little one’s bed. And the adorable black and white Fawn Cushion by Australian brand Homely Creatures looks so cute lying next to her.
