Some days ago we came across Gwen Dubois’s portfolio and discover a creative and fun girl’s room. She is an interior architect based in Belgium and has designed a dreamy bedroom for her daughter. So today we show you Rosie’s room, a lovely space full of details and imagination.
This attic room scheme is not strictly all-white, bright colours pop off the white walls and floor, giving the space a cheery feeling. Pink, red, yellow and gold accents are presents in honeycomb balls, garlands or figurines.
This small room have some sofas for resting and reading, a colourful puff and also a swing area. And what kid wouldn’t love a swing in his/her bedroom?
The built-in bed with storage is the most important piece of this room. It adapts perfectly to the space and the black colour adds personality and contrast to the room.
You can find animal references all over the room in the form of figurines, rugs, lamps or masks. Gwen Dubois has also created ‘Hang with me’, some bunny-shaped hangers perfect for the little ones.
We believe this fresh, bright (and real) girl’s bedroom will inspire you. White with pops of colours is always a good option for a kid’s room! You can find more kids’ room ideas here and here. Enjoy!
