The Singapore-based kid’s fashion label CAVALIER launches for spring summer 2017 with a collection called Acid Refluxxx which celebrates colour, art and sport.

For this season, this innovative and cool label introduces lots of neon and jewel tones. They mix textures and colours, sports mesh is colour-blocked with CAVALIER’s signature grey slub and soft tulle netting is layered to create soiree-worthy rainbow details.

CAVALIER always creates attractive silhouettes for the little ones, but they are also comfortable and fun. In this sartorial streetwear collection, you can find clothes with asymmetrical sleeves, teepee-shaped dresses, wrap tops and wide-legged trousers.

Furthermore, they add edge and quirky touches to their pieces, like the signature rocker and peace hand sign appliquéd pockets on the back-draped Rock Dress.

They have re-edited their most iconic dress: the Pasche. This piece is an ode to English designer John Pasche of the legendary tongue and lips logo for The Rolling Stones, and it was launched in CAVALIER’s second collection. This timeless shift dress hemmed with a mouth that gobbles up its wearer, is re-mixed in this collection with candy-stained lips and tongue.

Art and street culture are always present in CAVALIER collections. This Spring Summer’s “wearable art” piece presents itself as a Unicorn Dress – the magical stallion is juxtaposed from a geometric black body, it’s rainbow mane gathered from 5 layers of neon tulle and, of course, a stately spiralling horn disguised as a twisted silver-foil shoulder strap on one side.

CAVALIER is one of the most interesting kids fashion labels we know. They take kid’s fashion so seriously, creating innovative, well-designed and playful clothing for the little ones. Their clothes have a rebellious vibe, and they take pleasure in injecting humour into their creations. However, in this collection, you will find a real balance between creativity and commercial viability, an ideal so difficult to achieve.

CAVALIER is available in 18 countries and at its own web store for children from 2 years to 16 and adults.
