They create furniture for both kids and babies but they are as beautiful that they can be “proudly” shown in the living room. That trendy Scandinavian design of 50’s and 60’s is their main influence provided the present success of this style we can say they are really in!
What Can You Find?
Design and quality are mixed to get long lasting, functional and amazing pieces which provide a sophisticated minimalist look to the space. Some of their most famous products “the LEVO bouncer and NOGA changing table have been created by two designers trained at “l’Ecole Boule”: Erick Demeyer and Steven Leprizé, who became reacquainted at the Agency Arca.” All the products share an excellent production technique that can be easily recognized in every detail.
The brand explains part of their know how on the website: “On the materials side of our description, Charlie Crane uses natural products, including the bent wood that helps sculpt complex forms and helps give roundness to objects and as a result their sweetness, which makes them perfect for anyone who wants to speak to children. This technique also has the advantage of being much more precise than merely the assembly of pieces of wood, which allows us to offer parts of excellent quality at an affordable cost.”
They collaborate with several talented designers like Gaspard Tiné-Berès and Tristan Kopp from the Re-Do Studio, we can´t wait to see the results of those projects!
