A unique take on fright night from blogger, Hipster Mum
Who says Halloween has to be dark and scary?
In Sydney this month flowers are blooming, temperatures are rising, and there’s the sweet scent of summer in the air —so as a photographer, blogger and mum of two I was inspired to set up and snap an All Hallow’s Eve shoot that reflected our seasons.
In terms of props, that meant swapping the pumpkin for a pineapple and loading the treat table with a few healthy snacks (homemade popcorn) along with the lollies.
When it came to the kids clothes I collaborated with a brilliant soon-to-launch brand, @billieandkate, who decked out the wee ones in hardwearing monochrome gear that rocks on fright night —and will still be useful in the weeks to come.
Hope this inspires you to celebrate this Halloween your own way too!
