This week Milan is the capital of design. New products will be present during Fuorisalone, but also other initiatives will run in parallel. Some days ago we introduced you to Agorà31 and Unduetrestella Design Week, and today we want to show you the first edition of KIDS DESIGN WEEK.
“Designing” for children means taking up a challenge, fighting standardization, creating objects which encourage (rather than hinder) the spontaneous heterogeneity of approaches of the youngest. Kids Design Week will be a meeting point for creativity, design, history and experimentation.
You will also find acollection of playful and colourful objects not strictly designed for children, but sure they engage well with young visitors.
Kids Design Week will host 33 exhibitors and lots of workshops. Kalon Studios, Tukluk, Alejandro Céron, Sanks, Stick-lets, Lago or PCM designs will be there.
Love the simplicity of form and the quality of texture of Policosmos Tropical family from PCM Design. You can find a Polar family, too. The perfect complements are Policosmos pop-ups, lovely small scenaries for playing with those animal families
Kalon Studios and its stylish children’s furniture will be at Kids Design Week
Afilii – design fit for kids will present 21 designers and brands from 10 different countries at Kid Design Week. They have selected creative, inspirational and sustanaible toys, home accessories, and children’s furniture, all of them products with a story behind.
