Josephine lives in a former farm with her two kids and her husband. This space has been shared by the Milk Magazine and we are also showing its kids’ room. A big bedroom where wood is the focus of attention. Josephine knows how to adapt it to get a trendy decoration.

We are always showing beautiful kids’ rooms but we are also ready to find more inspiration, new ideas and special spaces like this one. The most important part is creating an atmosphere where kids can feel comfortable to enjoy every day. This room has everything: a space to read, to play and a bed with storage solutions under it.

As it’s a big space, kids can enjoy the huge play area in the middle playing with their favourite toys. You just need a beautiful rug to offer them hours of fun. They have added just a few elements but the style is something simple between vintage and Nordic aesthetics. Baskets made with natural materials, a vintage rug with soft tones to unify the space and some pastel touches in shelves and hangers.

We really love the concept of the bed; it’s some kind of bunk bed which uses the bottom part as a storage space. Simple shelves with those wicker baskets which are showed all over the room and, as the final touch, we have that original lamp.

Given that it’s a big room, they can have a study area to read or draw. That vintage desk is full of personality and is perfectly combined with those modern and colourful shelves. The mix of modern and vintage stuff is really cool!
