Today we make a visit to Holland. We get into Cindy Keur-Rijckenberg’s house, a blogger and owner of a nice shop of home accessories called More than Living. She has redecorated her daughter’s room, giving it a fresh and cosy touch that I really liked. Do we begin the visit?
The base of the children’s bedroom is the white colour, which we find in walls, floor and furniture and that brings a great light. It is incredible how a kids room can change with only a coat of painting! (You can see how it was before here).
The owner also painted with white colour the wooden bed and a box of fruits, which it was used like a bedside table. It is really nice, don’t you think? But there are other two important colours in the room, green mint and rose, which we find in numerous details: posters, pompoms, carpet, Washi tape…
Because the details are important, Cindy customized this shelf to keep small figures with a bit of mint coloured paper.
In one of the room walls we can find the famous harlequin wallpaper by Ferm Living, this time in pink tone, and a dollhouse shelf full of Sonny Angels. Sure that Esmee spends hours playing here!
And the modern and entertaining touch is given by KEK Amsterdam’s wallpapers and By Nord’s bedding, both with animal motives.
Seen the result, do you encourage to redecorate your children’s rooms?
