Looking for modern boy’s room ideas and inspiration? Then this is the right place. Today we show you a simple, contemporary styling by Linda from Live Loud Girl with lots of ideas to steal. This time, she has designed a bedroom for a little boy. He has two passions: books and dinosaurs and both are widely present in this large room.
The sleeping area has two principal elements: the Oeuf bunk bed (a high-quality piece of furniture) and the dinosaur. It’s a custom made paper mache wall decoration from Susan Meijerink. Some colourful (and useful) Muuto wall knobs complete the decoration.
This boy’s room has three different styles of wallpapers, and each one corresponds to a different corner or space: the subtle waves (for the sleeping area); the green cactus pattern from Ane Walldecor (for the play area), and the world map (for the study area).
The little boy has many books and needs different solutions for storing all of them. Linda opted by an open bookcase and some acrylic shelves. She also adds some trolleys which will help to keep the bedroom clean. A big rug from Armadillo and soft woolen bean bag add warmth to this area.
The kid’s study zone is a combination of a bright base and splashes of colour. The chair, stool and gorgeous PET lamps stand out against the neutral canvas. The lamps are part of an amazing project that joins traditional craft, contemporary design and sustainability.
Finally, the world map, the big letter and the other elements above the cabinet create a personal, adventurous feeling to this corner.
