Motoreta Autumn Winter 2015/16 Collection
Motoreta means a small motorcycle and in Spain it was a very special model of bike that most kids from the 80’s had at home. But Motoreta is also a cool brand of kidswear from Seville with tons of character and charm. Their designs have contemporary and sophisticated cuts and exquisite lines, a successful combination of tradition and modernity.
The new Motoreta’s AW’15 collection is all about geometrical shapes, lines and basic forms. This collection is full of references to artists from the Bauhaus: Kandinsky, Klee, Batz… Art and Architecture.
You’ll find clothes with beautiful silhouettes, fabulous fabrics and basic colours (grey, black, off white, yellow, a bit of blue and green). All garments are made 100% in Andalusia (Spain), following their concept: “think global / produce local”.
The creative duo behind this kid’s fashion label, Cristina López-Lago and Maria Llerena, creates gorgeous dresses for girls with plain colours and also geometric prints. The details (the collars, pockets or frills) and the well-designed structure make the difference.
But Motoreta doesn’t leave the little boys out either. Their shirts and unisex baggy pants are perfect for a stylish and urban-inspired look.
The new high-quality kidswear collection features Bauhaus-inspired prints, small and large polka dots, squares and other geometrical prints.
In this new season, they’ve created an accessories line: tights, weekend suitcases and school bags following the mood of the collection.
For colder winter days, they propose soft knitted sweaters, ponchos and coats, and of course, cosy knitted hats and scarves. So many great pieces that we can’t wait to get our hands!
