Motoreta is a cool Spanish kidswear brand that combines tradition and modernity, simplicity and sophistication. Cristina López-Lago and Maria Llerena, the designers, take inspiration from their own kids, architecture, literature, or arts, with a strong commitment with new design and production processes.
I’ve talked about this kids fashion label before, and I think every new collection is better than the previous one. The new collection is entitled SALT · SUN · SOUTH is inspired by the colours, sounds and magic from the flat landscapes of the salt harvests in Cádiz, a place where traditionally the children used to play and let the time goes by.
Motoreta Spring Summer 2016 Collection
The SS16 Motoreta collection is full of birds, cactus, stripes and polka dots prints. You can find bright colours like blue, yellow and red mixed with the basics: black and white. Shapes and silhouettes that play with the volumes and the effects of the wind on them.
Also, in this new collection, this Seville-based label introduces for the very first time its baby line.
As always, Motoreta’clothes stands out by clean shapes, perfectly tailored cuts, high-quality fabrics and interesting patterns. In this collection, you can find new gorgeous dresses (I want in my size, please!) and beautiful tones (those blues and ambers).
