As September begins, design lovers across the world are treated to a whole host of design delights. From London’s design week, to Maison et objet in Paris and on to the Habitat Valencia fair.
Although children’s design only makes up a relatively small proportion of the spectacles on offer. Nidi is putting kids design at the forefront by showing 5 beautifully furnished spaces at the Habitat Valencia fair. The fair is taking place between the 17th to 20th September. These cleverly designed spaces showcase Nidi’s new products. Featuring designs by Valeria Carlesso, The Dogtrot studio, Studio Lido, Tormen-Neadesign and Nidi Studio. Each space is designed to inspire visitors. Showing innovative ways to use their new furniture pieces, wallpapers, wooden panelling, and rugs. As well as introducing a new colour palette. As ever, the new collections are made of the highest quality. They are also designed to be on trend in the ever evolving world of children and teenagers.
From the tubular metal bed ‘tube’ which can be customised with different fabric headboards, to the shaped ‘Dory’ benches, which can also serve as storage units. The colours, textures and modules in the collection really allow kids to put their room together however they want.
Legs can be added to beds, bedside tables and wardrobes. Pegboard ‘Dots’ can be combined with wall panelling ‘Becky’ to add interest and colour to walls. Wardrobes can be complemented with built in recesses and shelving. Bedside tables can include wireless charging unit ‘Jack’.
Whether you choose minimal and refined or playful and colourful. These pieces blend classic design elements with modern technology, to create timeless and incredibly functional rooms.
