And here it is, you can view the awaited and desired SS16 collection from The Animals Observatory. As we announced some time ago, it’s a new children’s clothing company under the creative direction of Laia Aguilar, former founder of the successful brand Bobo Choses.
Their clothes were inspired by many varied sources: 70’s graphic world, Henry Moore’s sculptures, Elaine Constantine’s photos, Barragán’s architecture, Le Corbusier’s drawings or the Charlotte Perriand’s furniture. For this summer, The Animals Observatory (aka TAO) suggests garments inspired by African matches boxes of the 60’s or even the films of Jacques Tati.
You can find comfortable, playful and attractive kid’s clothes with a history. A daring collection with rich tones, from colourful basics to garments with fun illustrations and imaginative patterns, we’re sure you and your kids alike will love this collection.
Imagination, creativity and timeless style, all based on the old motto that Laia often repeats to her children: ‘Be a good animal, true to your instincts’.
Here’s a selection of our favourite looks. Enjoy!
