This April, Milan hosted the long running Salone del mobile, also known as the Milan furniture fair. One of our favourite Italian kids brand, Nidi, chose to launch its new line of products and accessories during Salone del mobile and what can we say except for….Wow statement

(Nidi’s caption for its new products and we can see why!).

Nidi has long been known in the kids furniture world for its modern lines and pops of colour. Here at Petit and Small we particularly love their customisable designs and their impressive teen pieces.

The latest Nidi creations are made of the highest quality. They are built to be timeless, yet meet the modern needs and tastes, of our ever changing children and teenagers.

The newly launched Nidi products include pegboards, wall panels, technology-ready furniture and a buildable modular system. As well as new colours, textures and patterns added to the collection of fabrics, wallpapers and rugs.

Here are some of our highlights.

Dots.

Nidi pegboard

The ‘Dots’ pegboard can be accessorised with shelves, mirrors and tidy trays. These can be repositioned as desired to give a unique, adaptable look.

Regoli.

Nidi regoli system

Regoli is a series of stackable modules that can be used to build storage, seating and beds. We love the choice of  playful colours and it’s endless versatility.  It really can be used to create a wealth of truly individual spaces.

Loop.

Loop is a multifunctional system that can be used as a free standing clothes rail, or as a desk. It can also be used to connect wardrobes, bookcases or modules. The loop system can be cleverly customised by adding shelves, felt organisers, mirrors and TV hooks. It’s another really flexible design that is particular suited to teenage spaces.

Colour and texture.

Nidi perfectly combines neutral colours with bright pops of colours and textures. The result is an interesting yet fun kids space. These spaces are all highly functional and long lasting. The variety of colour choices and textures will not go out of fashion and will again last the kids right through to the teenage years.

Our final highlight is ‘Jack’, a plywood module, housing speaker compartments and wireless recharging units. Jack integrates modern technology perfectly with all of the other elements of this beautiful collection. What more could you child or teenager require from their room?!?!
