Today we will visit a very special house, a house with soul, decorated with lovely vintage items. This home is full of beautiful things, memories and finds from different journeys and many visits to antique shops and flea markets.
The stylist, makeup artist and shop owner Karolina Vertus and the carpenter Daniel Magnusson live in this beautiful flat in Malmö, along with their two daughters. It’s a house in constant change where new and vintage objects are mixed with great taste. Antique paintings, Asian furniture, and Moroccan rugs are combined with natural materials like linen and wood.
The baby girl sleeps in the parents’ bedroom in a vintage iron crib. This cute nursery corner is completed by the canopy from Numéro 74 and the plaid blanket from Lucky Boy Sunday.
There are many details to discover in the girl’s room. The little house-shaped shelf comes from Ferm Living, the canopy from Número 74, the bedspread was bought at a flea market and all the soft toys are from Lucky Boy Sunday.
What a lovely nook! Vintage luggage and the green cabinet were bought at a flea market, just like the old dollhouse, while saddle stool in leather comes from Karolina’s grandmother. Garlands, pompoms and textiles help to add warmth and magic to the room.
Tell me, do you dare to decorate your home in this style? You need a touch of eclecticism, a dose of boho vibe and chic ethnic mix, and lots of vintage finds. A winner combination.
