The painter and stylist Irene de Klerk Wolters lives in a flat with high and white ceilings in Copenhagen. Lover of vintage, Irene has decorated her home with vintage objects and DIY furniture but also contemporary designs. A chair belonging to her grandmother, an antique French cabinet, some cushions bought in Amsterdam…every object has its own story. However, the rooms are bright and spacious, and a sense of calm and simplicity floods the house.

Her sons, Beau and Papÿn , share a room plenty of lovely details. A vintage table and chair and a simple pendant light make a stunning kids workspace. The grey cabinet is a gift from Irene’s mother who got it in Eastern Europe (and Irene and her husband restored it).
The couple also made Beau’s bed and painted it in grey. For storing toys and books, they picked out some trunks, boxes and baskets.
The family loves Paris, and they have a collection of Eiffel Towers and 2CV.
You also can find more playful details, like these magnets animals. It’s a kids room, add fun to its decoration!
A bottle box may be beautiful and functional! In this case, it’s perfect for placing Beau’s books.
